Building Surveying

 

Our skilled surveyors prepare property acquisition surveys, advise on the condition of buildings and highlight any defects in order of priority. They then produce a comprehensive report providing recommendations on any action that needs to be taken.

We have many years experience managing building projects, from small localised works to major structural changes. Conservation surveys are essential for catching potential problems early and assessing the level of decay or defect posed. If you suspect that there is a problem with your historic building or want to know how much work might be required to rectify it, you can rely on our expertise to conduct an in-depth survey. We may also be able to give you a budget or firm estimate.

 

 

Dilapidation surveys

Precious and fragile, historic buildings are vulnerable to structural instability, and any failure can have costly consequences. We’ll conduct a specialist survey to see if the elevation is failing in any way, from rotten structural timber to fractured mortar joints. We’ll assess the damage and the future concerns and establish what work should be done to preserve the building.

 

Solving the problem

At the end of our surveys, we’ll be able to recommend a course of treatment. You are free to get alternative advice or another team to carry out the work, though with our expertise and experience, there’s no need to look elsewhere.
